Research
Dr. Ho is widely published in peer reviewed journals on a variety of topics and interests. He is particularly interested in sports injuries such as Achilles Rupture and Jones fractures, topics which he has studied extensively and published on.
Additionally he has a focus in patient reported outcomes, which he believes are an important tool that can be utilized to help improve patient care and outcomes. Dr. Ho was given the J. Leonard Goldner Award in 2016 by the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society for outstanding research on how patient reported outcomes can improve patient care. His research demonstrates that specific patient reported outcomes such as PROMIS can help identify which patients would benefit from surgery.
Dr. Ho's research has been presented both nationally and internationally, including Canada, India, China, Chile, and Japan.
